| | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 41 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 41 | I have a 53 with a 216 as original equipment and plan on changing over to a 235. Does anyone know what was the different ways that Chevy mounted these two engines in 53 since that was the year they switched over? I plan on keeping mine the same and use the 216 water pump to avoid the radiator clearance problem. Is this what Chevy did in 53?
