Sorry if I stepped on any toes; certainly not my intent. I did a search and still didn't find what I was looking for, much like U2... I haven't lurked much here in the bodywork forums - the mechanicals are more pressing at the moment.
I live in a small town, and in the truck, yes, I usu leave it unlocked unless I've been to the store and have a fresh 6 pack of Slurm. My wife was quite alarmed about not needing a key to start the truck and I explained that that's just they way they did it then. I had a '58 Chevy in my youth with the same setup, and took every advantage of it when my dad would forget to lock the ignition to "off".... It was my ticket to ride!
I'll do a more thorough search, I was just wondering about the odd-ball set up on the locks...
