my brother and i had a pair of trucks 20 years ago,mine a 52 chev, his a 52 fargo. we both painted our frames with tremclad(rustoleum)i sold my truck and he still has his chassis at my uncles farm, it has been sitting out in the weather since then and still looks great,although that chassis never saw the road the paint still weathered excellent! most classic trucks these days dont see any winters anyway, so i will use tremclad/rusto on my new project.
