My middle daughter is getting close to taking her driver's test. Yesterday we had our first parallel parking seesion and she she did very well - I think it's genetic, but the jury's still out!
Today she learned how to change a tire. I made her use her Mom's Expedition, and since it was about 95, she got dirty AND sweaty. She did very well and now understands why I use a floor jack and impact wrench.
Her first "car" is a 1953 3600, so she needs to know how to jack a truck. Even with no A/C or power steering she is very happy with her vehicle choice. She can hardly wait to be able to haul her horse around on her schedule instead of mine.
