From 1954 and onwards the horn was not mounted on the 235/261 intake manifold.
What year intake manifold do you have?
The dual-horn option/accessory was not usually mounted on the intake manifold; but, I would guess that in 1953 and earlier years that the intake would most likely still have had the holes for the horns.
