rads were 0 pressure into the 50's, 4# would be possible with a well rebuilt rad, but you'd have to move the overflow into the neck or it'll never build any pressure - OTOH, the advantage of the pressurizing is to raise the boiling point and it shouldn't ever run hot enough to require that if all is well
