Found that there is a steering damper/stabilizing kit that you can buy its supposed to minimize shimmy/swaying, but I don't know if it's any good.. Used to old cars (Caddy/Buick 58 and up) but they are pretty nice on the road, so I need to get this better som how, it's a tad to much for comfort.
Well will go to the junk yard tomorrow to see if I can find any bits that can substitute for the tailgate locking mechanism.. need to get something going that works and looks original (from the outside). The best would be the original stuff but don't think I will find it.. From what I got not to many of the suburbans around..
