I tried doing a search but can't really find an answer for my particular question, so I am hoping someone can guide me on the right direction.
I am redoing all of my electrical system (1951 1/2 ton) and will be going with 12v and a single wire alternator; however, I want to keep it as stock as possible...I am even using cloth wire...so I want to use a regulator.
My question is should I use a 6 v or a 12v regulator and how should I wire it? I seen some diagrams where the regulator is bypass and others where the connect to one of the terminals only...
I am just confused....Thx
