This past spring, I got under the beast and disconnected the line at the tank. Gas flowed freely all over me! Today I made an adjustment in the float setting. I am sure it is not correct since I don't know what it should be and this float doesn't look like any of the ones I played with in the 60's. Anyway, It idles now without being choked but went I tried to drive out of the garage it had nothing. I had to struggle to keep it running. The vacuum is running at about 16 now when I test it at idle with the choke off.
