I have been surfing the web for the past 3 hours looking for a 1965 Chevrolet pickup VIN Decoder, but all the decoders I can find decode 60-64, skip 65 and 66, then go straight to 67. What the heck?
I'm not even sure the numbers I have are my VIN. I found a steel plate stamped at the top of my drivers side door frame completely by accident (I was kneeling down on the ground looking under my seat for my Mag Lite and when I stood up I slammed my head into the cab, looked up and found it!).
The plate reads as follows:

C1445S186650
If anybody knows any links or can help me out at all I especially want to know what my original motor was because I know my '65 shouldnt have a 250. Thanks in advance!
