I recently installed a T5 (.72 OD) in front of a 4.10. I've only had it on the freeway once-I'm working on tightening up the steering now- but the combination seems good. I'm guessing that 2,000 rpm gets me to about 70 mph, which is as fast as I need to go in this truck.
My original differential was a 4.57, and changing to the 4.10 made quite a difference.
