Its held on to the input shaft with a circlip, 2 people to remove or 1 with circlip pliers!
the new bearing should come with the other circlip that keeps it from going too far into the gearbox, so you only have to reuse the small one.
it simply slides on. Did mine a couple of weeks ago. took 30 mins inc making a new gasket for the cover from scratch.
