I have two different intake manifolds, and I'm wondering if one is better than the other. I've measured all of the ports and the sizes are the same. Post spacing for the carb is identical, and I've verified that the carb will fit on both manifolds.

The intakes are the same except for the "box" that the carb mounts to - one is about 2X taller than the other. Pictures here:

The intake in the back that is rust-colored appears to have a smaller port in the center under the box, but it is an optical illusion. I measured everything with a dial caliper. The blue manifold is the one that has been on my truck since I bought it and the other is a spare that I've had. I am replacing a cracked exhaust manifold, and so I figured I'd ask while I'm at it.

Thanks!
