Hi, not to sound like a know it all or anyhting, but on the oil pan and valve cover, did you check the bolt holes ?
Sometimes over the years the holes get pulled in from overtightening, so no matter how tight you get them the gasket isn't being crushed at all.
Sometimes they need to be hammered flat again, good luck!
