IN my opinion that is a decent price for parts and labor. I just had a rebuilt 350 put in my '99 Tahoe (I know, different animal), and it was just over $3,200 including a new cooling system and tax etc. If your price is a new tranny, rear end etc, plus the installation, that would not be too bad. My opinion only.
