You guys rock, thanks for the replies. The truck has been sitting out for about 12 years. It does not have the original motor. I don't have a lot of money, but know nothing about trying to do it myself. The truck will be a daily driving vechicle for my son, it is a wedding gift, so I was trying to get the motor running, a nice paint job and new wide rim tires. It is hard to know who to trust when you have zero knowledge about working on cars.
I am meeting with him tomorrow and I will ask him more questions. Should I asked for an itemized estimate?
