Don't bother with easy-outs. If you break one off there will be hell to pay. I never could understand those things... they actually cause the bolt to expand making it tighter in the threads.

I usually just drill them out. Start with a small drill and work your way up to the size required for tapping. Most of the time they'll spin out from the force of the drilling but if not then I just run a tap through them and I've never had one screw up on me yet.

If they are in blind hole use left-handed drill bits.
