I recently inherited a 56 Chevy Suburban project that is missing the valve rocker assembly. It has the original 235 engine and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what engine years and sizes use the same rocker assembly? Need to get it running and drivable so I can make a decision on whether or not I can keep it (too many projects). Also, Has anyone come across an easy way to get the rust off of iron? The engine was totally rebuilt and installed but never completely re-assembled. It sat in an unheated garage for 30 years. All of the rough, non-machined surfaces inside and out that were not coated with oil at that time are now rusty. Machined surfaces are still in great shape.
