| | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 71 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 71 | I had the hood springs on my 53 3100 chrome plated. The plater removed the springs from the brackets. These are the flat springs that look like a clock main spring. Anyone tried to re-install these springs with the proper tension? I thought about using an old cheap socket and cutting a slot in it and using a ratchet to re-wind it. Got any better ideas? | | |
