I had a similar experience when doing a brake job last year using NORS wheel cylinders. I ended up installing 2 new cups and gave up on the ones that were giving me trouble. I think in my case that the rubber was just old, hard and wasn't going to seal. After doing that I have had no problems and none yet this year, knock on wood. Good Luck Don
