I think what he originally was referring to is that if you go to WOT it is a lot more carb than the Rochester and that is certainly what I meant. I run a pair of them so I don't have the same problem as you but it runs very well. I guess it is all in the interpretation but I don't think he would intentionally mislead you. Did he say anything about rejetting to larger jets?
