your vin tag is right over your head as you enter the cab on the drivers side. if you don't see it check under the hood just over the heater box . I have a 66 with the vin in that location. it looks totally factory (weird). you can figure out your vin by creating the first 5 letters c1545 long bed or c1445 short bed. the rest of your vin is located on the frame rail under the hood between the radiator and the exhaust manifold on the drivers side.good luck!
