I just bought a '40 GMC 3/4 ton pickup to restore and I got a full set of 18 inch x 6.00/ 6.50 artillery wheels with the truck. I bought a full set of hubcaps for them and they look cool. Eventually I'll need some tires to go on those bad boys. I was wondering if any modern sizes fit? Can you run tubes in tubeless radials? I might cut and widen the back rims to give it more stance. I did price out some repro tires but at $175 apiece that's over my budget. Any ideas? | | |
