P1010176.jpg looks like an
SM420 transmission (here is another photo) transmission - the standard GM 4-speed for many years. The rear housing-cover was different in different years and for different sizes of trucks. The brake on the back is a drive-shaft (propeller shaft) parking brake, used on many large trucks.
What year/size truck do you want to use it in (and, open or enclosed drive shaft)?
