| | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 18 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2010 Posts: 18 | I have been told that the stepside box on Chevy pickups was the same from 1955 2nd thru about 1965 or 1966. And that a stock rear bumper from any of those years would fit my 1958 longbed stepside truck. If this is true then I would guess the mounting brackets would be the same. Can anyone confirm that the bumper and brackets are the same so I can expand my search in the salvage yards. Thank you for your help - Al
