i didnt have a quadrajet and if i did I wouldnt know the first thing on tuning it. the carb on my truck was a carter AFB that needed rebuilding and was manual choke. I chose to go with a holley elec choke 600 because from what I have read this is a pretty fool proof carb, contrary to what I have heard of the q-jet.
