| | | | Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2002 Posts: 59 | I removed the 3 speed tranny off my 1950 1/2 ton to get to the clutch. I didn't notice anything wrong with it to begin with but how do you tell if there needs to be a rebuild or repair? Would you see fragments of metal once you open the shift cover? Is there something I should be checking before I put it back? I just want to make sure I take care of any problems before putting it back together.
