Hmm I put on my thinking cap tonight.. I decided to go look at the doner GMC in the back of the shop. Much to my suprise, the factory power stearing went through where the Motor mount was on the Chevy. The cross member for the A-arms is where it had the holes.

So I walked 20 feet behind the GMC to where another 62 Chevy donor was. It had 2 mounting points. The half U shaped one off the front of the cross member and one in the cross member like the GMC.

Checked out the other 62 Chevy I was trying to fit the motor in, It has the same. 2 points.. Moved it back and now it lines up..

Now to figure out a tranny cross member for the TH350 and where to buy the side mounts and get the front one off once the side mounts are welded in.
