hey guys Last year I put an hei distributor in my 283. Got it up and running and it ran fine. This winter I pulled the engine to swap the trans out and while I had it out I changed out all the gaskets and along the way I found the timing chain to be worn out to the point that it was slaping the block. Now. I have it all back together and it won't start or even fire. It has gas, spark and compression. I spun it around to tdc and the roter looks to be at about 8 oclock or a little better. I know thats not right. Is that because I swapped the disi with a bad chain. I know i installed the chain right and triple checked it. Can anyone tell me how many posts away from the power leads #1 is on the cap. My aftermarket cap doesn't have it stamped on there
