Looks at Tim's Links and it showed up as for 53-54 car Hood Ornament... If this is true when it was assembled in Oakland, Ca that may have been the Hood Ornament on the line that day...
Brothers shows it as Original for 1953-54 ( Truck ) as a few other other sites do also...
As for myself, it is the one that has always been on the truck and will remain so...
