I sprayed around all the vacuum ports with no increase in RPM. This is an 56 oldsmobile Super 88 it was a government car kept on a Navy Base (Treasure Island) so it's been taken care of quite well the base closed in 91 and made its way to Michigan. By the looks of it the engine was rebuilt. The timing got out of wack when I put in a rebuilt transmission. I cant time it spot on with the engine running at such a high RPM kind of stuck here. I'm going to take the carb apart clean it with cleaner fluid and an air compressor and report back.

If the frame is Good then everything else can be fixed.
