For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 101 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 101 | Purchased a set of front wheel bearings for my 54 3100. The upgraded roller bearings actually. Took the set to a licensed mechanic, and the inner bearing would not slide on the spindle all of the way, driver's side. It was close to fitting, but not wanting to force it he stopped. I called Bowtie Bits where I purchased the kit and they said it must be my spindle. It actually looked good. Not thinking fast enough I didn't have him try the passenger side. Any ideas??
