Tiny: Thanks for the input, but the line was clear from the pressure regulator (on the lower engine block left side) all the way to the rocker shaft.
I have however ordered a replacement tube/line assembly and will replace it because it shows a little chaffing where it had been in contact rubbing against a push rod.
