It's hard to tell how much I'm missing it by, or exactly what is going on, because I can't be in the truck and outside at the same time and my son is away.
The strange thing is that I can, put a wrench between the firewall and the top of the arm; manually pry the arm down; it hits the switch and turns over.
So, It's more like the throw is long enough, but for some reason doing it from inside the cab (like you should), it acts like it won't hit the switch on the starter. It doesn't even begin to turn over.
