Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | nothing to do with repaired or not - loosen the bolts on the pillar side of the hinge for adjustment in/out - the bolts on the door side of the hinge for front/back - both sides will also affect up/down
usually new seals cause the door to be quite tight, sometimes enough you have to slam it pretty good to catch the latch, to some extent that improves with use as the seals 'crush' a bit .... of course there's also the fact that some repro seals are too thick for proper functioning, been some posts about that problem not long ago
