Or can the light housing be from a diff Chevy truck like a '54?Thanks

1947-1955 Advance-Design Chevrolet and New Design GMC Suburbans & Canopy Express with end-gates used the same tail-lamp assembly. It looks like the same assembly was used by the 49-52 Chevrolet station wagon.
