First off I'ld like to say that I'm new here and so far,have found a wealth of info for myself.
OK,here's my question.I'm rebuilding a 1960 LB stepside.I've got 2 trucks for this,one runs,the other is a donor.The chassis I'm rebuilding has what I beleive is an overload spring that goes over the top of the rearend.My driver truck doesn't have this.Was this an option,or did they all have and the one on my driver just get tossed sometime?
