Hi Guys, Thanks for advice it helped to put me on track with the starting. I found out for engines with the hydramatic the starter is different than a stick shift (requires more power for automatic) Had I known this I would have converted to 12 volt but as it is I bought new battery ground cables and cleaned of frame and motor gound straps and ran a ground strap to starter from frame. I then wired up ignition switch right to starter and coil this allowed me to by-pass old wiring and the engine turned over some better. found bad coil and replaced so after 3 1/2 months of starter issues I did get the unit to run and it sounded awsome.
