Just arrived home and setting up to do some fitting tomorrow but I have been looking around to see where my running boards need to attach to and cannot figure it out. Am I just too tired and missing something obvious?

I know they attach to the the front and rear fenders but what about the small holes on the top lip along the length of the running boards?
