Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 31 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 31 | I recently had the opportunity to aquire a recently rebuilt 235 from a 59 Impala, upon studying the motor and looking it over, I noticed that the motor mount location is in a different location than those on the original and tired 235 on the ol' 58 apache. The Impala 235 has the mount location about halfway back the lower block, the apache's original mount location is at the front of block, mounting to the front crossmember. The new 235 does not have the front mount location as an option. Looking for any ideas that I might be able to use. Do the original V-8 mounts use the same location as the inline 235? | | |
