| | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 79 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 79 | I have just purchased a 1948 2 ton Loadmaster .The rear spring is broken in two at the eye(left side).Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement? The old truck was parked under a barn since 1974 and has a jam up stake body on it. Must have hauled some HEAVY loads in its day to have broken a spring. The chassis shows no damage otherwise.If only these old trucks could talk oh what stories they could tell!
