What will be your main use for your truck?
Show,daily driver,workhorse etc.
There are literally hundreds of permutations you can go for,I agree with Cletis though, keep the original frame,and go from there.
I've never been a fan of 'cutting and shutting' chassis.
If you really have your heart set on changing out the original set-up,one of 'our own', Scott Danforth does a really nice IFS kit that utilises Chevy parts.
