An Amsoil bypass filter head (shown in my example) has a 1/16” restrictor which could be added to the average filter mount found at a FLAPS by inserting an NPT pipe plug and drilling a metering hole in it as well as Jerry’s method. An Amsoil bypass filter has an efficiency rating of 98.7% at 2 microns and will remove soot as well as the very small particles that cause the most engine wear which I believe to result in much cleaner oil than any full flow conversion would accomplish.
