I drained the sand out of it, and it flowed through my fingers reasonably well. I added talcum powder mixed it by hand and the difference was amazing. The powder came in a 22 oz plastic bottle, I probably added 3-4 oz to 30lbs of sand. The easier it flows the easier it is for the siphon tube to pick it up and pull it through the gun. I'm guessing this would work with any media and either a stand alone siphon blaster or pressure blaster.
