Hi everyone,

I have a 58 chevy apache (1/2 ton) with the 4 speed manual. I recently connected the 4 speed to a chevy 350. In order to do so, I had to pull the top of the tranny off (gear shifter and top plate). When I put everything back together I lost first and second gear. The clutch IS engaging.

After losing first and second gears, I pulled the top off of the tranny again. Now I have 1st and 2nd, but no reverse! Does anyone know a remedy for this problem?
