Hi.

On my 1946, I'm running the old pre SM420 4 speed (the one with the little flippy lever on the shifter), and it's not driving the speedometer.

I pulled the cable off of the transmission, and ran the drill on it, and the speedometer works like a champ. It's not even jumpy.

I've asked around, and my panel of old mechanics tell me that it's probably that the gear that drives the speedometer is stripped.

Any ideas where I can get a new gear? American Classic, Chevs of the 40's, and Jim Carter don't seem to have them. If they do, it certainly wasn't listed in a logical place. (e.g. Transmissions or Speedometers)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
