I just got a NOS Rochester 1bbl new in the box from ebay. I bolted on my 292, it seems to run ok but during these heat waves we have been having lately it stalled on me twice. pulled over and could hear it percolating where the float is. Should I just write it off and blame it on hotter than normal days? Also is this the right carb for my 292, It's a service replacement carb part# 7040025. I was just wondering if a 292 carb has a bigger jet different float etc. than a 230 or 250 carb?
