Ok, quick blurb of where I am, the 52 1Ton has now been chopped down to a 1/2Ton and I have removed the rear axle.... I planned on using the stock 1 Ton springs even though I was swapping the axle out for a newer one....
On my way of taking the axle apart, I realized that the 1 ton Leaf springs are 2 parts. Can I remove the added set that sits on top of the main springs and just run the 8 springs together?
Will be a somewhat softer ride I would expect.
