Why do all, or at least most, photos of restored trucks show that the front windshield rubber gasket is unpainted.? I have a unrestored Gmc and the front and rear window gaskets are all covered with body color paint. This makes sense because it was a production line paint job and not an individual restoration. By the way this is original paint not a repaint. If you are restoring to original should the gasket be painted or not, forgetting which looks better? comments please. doug
