Thankyou Tim, I may loose the oil filter, I see that Chevs of the 40's has what looks to be a bracket that fits the manifold and the filter bolts to it, if so I may stay with it, front clip came off yesterday and the motor and trans today, mainly for a good steam clean and paint work, the motor paint for 53 says someting about blue but I have no lead thru Napa do you have a # on it, 40's has it but it'll be a week till I see it and its 15 bucks a can.
And I still can't figure out the core support is there a bar that connects the two uprights together including the fenders, is it welded or just floats with the fenders.
